The use of USB devices are increasing everyday, as the majority of people have computers either in their home, at work or carried with them in person. Branded USB Drives are used for items too large for email, or easy transfer between computers.

Also, for the companies it makes sense because its’ cheaper to make these USB drives and Flash Drives. I think that for a company that really wants to get the attention, that’s the way to go. Also, the cooler the promotional items, the more people are likely to talk about it! So it does pay off in the end.

They are stand-alone, independent devices that draw power from the computer itself. USB drives are not dependent on a particular platform.
